It's on again - Are you ready for the Willowglen Challenge 2010?
This year's Challenge will again see more than 20 teams competing from various registered 4WD Clubs from NSW & ACT. Each team will consist of 4 competing vehicles and a non-compulsory reserve vehicle. This year we wll be running one class only - The Challenge Class
How do I enter? In order to compete you must be a member of a registered 4WD club. Applications will be open to all teams from 1st Jul 2010. If you are interested in competing you should register your club by sending an email to challenge@tlcc.com.au.
Once applications open, the following links will be updated to provide you with all the information and forms your team is required to complete. Team entries will close on 20 August 2010. Team entry is not automatic. Competitor numbers will be limited to ensure the event can be managed successfully. Successful teams will be notified on 23 August 2010.
What is the cost per competition entry? Entry fee per competing vehicle is $200 (including the reserve vehicle if you choose to include one as part of your team). The fee includes entry to Willowglen for a driver & navigator and partners (4 people in all), your competition entry fees, and camping fees. The total fee payable for a team of 4 vehicles is $800.
Entry fee is payable by cheque made out to “Toyota Land Cruiser Club of Australia”. return to top What makes up a team? Teams will consist of four (4) competing vehicles and a non-compulsory reserve from any registered 4WD club. return to top All members of the team have to be members of the CCDA. How do I join? All drivers, navigators and team managers need to be members of the Cross Country Driver's Association. You can download an application form from the CCDA website and mail to 'Registrar, Cross Country Drivers Association, PO Box 1266 BAULKHAM HILLS NSW 1755. For more information about the CCDA, go to http://CCDA.info. return to top Why can’t the Team Manager compete? This is important from an Event Management perspective. It is essential that the Event Management has access to a representative (ie the Team Manager) of the club at all times during the competition. This is not possible if the Team Manager is a competitor. return to top I have downloaded and read all the documents, I still have questions? You can email your question to challenge@tlcc.com.au or call the Challenge Co-ordinator, Tony Price on 0419 702 033 or Peter Murphy (02) 9586 3249 return to top
