Bookings are essential to assist in planning and catering.
The annual TLCC Funkhana and BBQ/Bush Dance are back again and will be held at Willowglen
22-23 March 2014. This year the Funkhana is free. The BBQ/Bush Dance in the shed on Saturday evening are also free to members.
The Funkhana has 8 fun, skills based courses all of which can be completed in a standard 4WD and is not a hardcore 4wd completion like the Willowglen Challenge.
Some examples of courses which have been run in the past include Touch & Go, Snail Shell, Spear A Spud, Leaky Bucket, Stumped, Merry Go Round to name a few. None of the events are timed and penalties are only given for touching conduit/bunting or doing a back and fill etc.
You can make this into a competition between fellow members or partners to see who the better driver is.
There are many TLCC Members who have attended the Social Events over the past few years at Koolandilly that I know will have a blast at Funkhana. There are also events for the kids on Saturday.
Prizes will be awarded for the winners and the overall winner will receive the coveted Perpetual Trophy.
On Saturday night a BBQ dinner & Bush Dance will be held at the shed where all members can dance into the night. You are welcome to come to the BBQ dinner & Bush Dance even if you are not competing in the Funkhana.
This year the Funkhana will coincide with the National Conference of TLCCs. Members from other TLCCs have been invited to compete, so this is your chance to show the other Clubs how it’s done and defend the Funkhana Title.
