A bush fire is burning in the vicinity of Long Gully Rd, Bannaby, NSW. The fire is over 1883 hectares in size and is being controlled.
The following closures and restrictions are in place: - Wombeyan Caves and the Wombeyan Karst Conservation Area are closed to visitors. - Wombeyan Caves Road between Taralga Road and 'Highrange' in the east is restricted to residents only. - The Range Fire Trail is closed.
Smoke will likely continue to impact the Wollondilly River area. Firefighters will continue to assess the area and determine whether or not further road and trail closures are required over the coming days.
