The TLCC Basic 4WD Course consists of three Driver Training Modules. 

When you first join the TLCC, your membership is Provisional. To attain full membership, it is a requirement that all three Driver Training Modules are completed within 3 months of joining the Club.

It is also a requirement that Driver Training must be completed before you access the Club’s Property’s, or attend any social event held on the Club’s Property’s.

This program is delivered in 3 modules:

Module 1 – One evening lecture on the basic principles of 4WD driving and types of 4WD vehicles and accessories. Module 1 is held on the Tuesday Night prior to the weekend of Module 2 and Module 3. Module 1 will cover the theory and everything that you need to bring for the weekend. The Module 1 Training course is held at Chullora, NSW.

Module 2 – one day of practical 4WD driver training using your 4WD vehicle over diverse terrain found on the Club Property at Willowglen located to the south of Goulburn.

Module 3 – also at Willowglen; one day of practical training on 4WD vehicle recovery, and information on 4WD accessories and equipment.

Note: Module 2 and Module 3 are held over the course of one weekend. 

i.e. complete Module 2 on Saturday and Module 3 on Sunday.
